Patricia Davies graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1994 with a BA (Hons) degree in Creative Arts. She acquired a PGCE and taught art in the UK before moving to Burgundy, France to create and open a residential language school that offered UK schools the opportunity to learn French through a variety of art activities such as sculpture, mosaic, pottery and painting.
Patricia now works with acrylic paint, oil pastels and wax crayons. She paints still life although the composition is from her imagination. She draws inspiration from nature, loving patterns and the simple things in life. Patricia tries to tie in her 'little birds' with still life, creating a story or an activity which they are part of. They also represent the freedom to do what you love to do.
