Born in Italy, Graziella Doardo lives in London, having graduated in Painting and Metalwork at Camberwell College of Art. Her work is an exploration of architectural space, and the perception of depth and movement. The abstract imagery she uses is created through a structured juxtaposition of tones, light, flat colours, and 'real space' versus the illusionary. Graziella says; 'The work creates a notion of lines and depth in the surface which is captured through the activity of perception - observation reveals a different reality'. Graziella has exhibited widely in London and abroad, and been involved in the co-ordination of various art projects. She also has an impressive following of private collectors, and her work is part of the National Collection.
